Kleinia stapeliiformis
Kleinia stapeliiformis (Pickle Plant) and Kleinia kilimanjaro (sometimes confused or related) are both upright, succulent subshrubs from the Asteraceae family featuring fleshy, pencil-like stems, but they differ significantly in origin, stature, and specific stem markings. K. stapeliiformis is a shorter, creeping South African species, while K. kilimanjaro is native to East Africa.
